Montserrat managed her orders through WooCommerce<\/a><\/strong>, but the process of manually creating contacts and invoices for each order was slow and fraught with difficulties. As her business grew, this manual burden became unsustainable. The solution she needed involved integrating WooCommerce with Quipu<\/a><\/strong>, her ERP. <\/p>\n\n

Digitalization, despite being such a widely used term, remains a reality for companies that want to continue advancing in an increasingly automated world. Integrating systems and applications is a necessity rather than an option, a fundamental piece to avoid the wear and tear of manual processes and inevitable human errors. <\/p>\n\n

At DeMomentSomTres<\/strong>, we use Make<\/a><\/strong> (formerly known as Integromat) to help our clients automate processes and reduce manual data entry, in an environment where speed is crucial. In this article, we will share how we managed to integrate WooCommerce<\/strong> with Quipu<\/strong>, to automate the creation of contacts and invoices, eliminating the burden of a manual process and increasing the efficiency of a client who does not want to waste time on repetitive tasks. <\/p>\n\n

The Solution with Make<\/h2>\n\n

Through Make<\/a><\/strong>, we have created a customized workflow for Montserrat. The workflow has been defined in the following steps: <\/p>\n\n

  1. Retrieve orders<\/strong>: the first step has been to establish a connection with WooCommerce<\/strong> to retrieve complete orders. We have applied filters to ensure that only orders and all their necessary data are retrieved, avoiding duplicates. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Before passing them to the ERP, it was necessary to use various modules to process the orders, thus facilitating data manipulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Create or update contacts<\/strong>: through Quipu<\/strong>, we have automated the creation and updating of contacts. If the contact already exists, it is updated in the ERP; otherwise, a new contact is automatically created. This part of the flow has been managed using filters in Make<\/strong>, which allow applying conditions (create or update) depending on the contact’s situation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Invoice generation<\/strong>: once the contact is created or updated, the invoice<\/strong> for the order is generated through Quipu. This allows the client to automate the invoicing task, improving speed and reducing human errors. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. WooCommerce update<\/strong>: once the invoice is generated in Quipu<\/strong>, the flow returns to WooCommerce<\/strong> to update the order status by reporting the invoice number generated in Quipu, thus completing the process fully and automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
